Use the following links to prdownloads differents packages of GPC.
GPC source package :
GPC binary package for Debian GNU/Linux (tested with Debian 2.2) :
This package have been produced with the help of Julien BLACHE (jb@jblache.org) on a Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 (Potato), updated with GNOME-1.2
packages provided by HelixCode (now Ximian) and PostgreSQL-6.5.3 (already included in distribution).
Julien BLACHE may probably prepare another package for the next Debian GNU/Linux stable distribution (woody) ; I will give you the correct link as soon as possible for that
package.
GPC binary package for RedHat Linux (tested with RedHat 6.2) :
This package have been compiled and tested on a RedHat Linux 6.2, updated with GNOME-1.2 packages provided by HelixCode (GNOME-1.4 since 0.6).
Compilation problems have been encountered with compilation on a Mandrake 7.2 distribution, because (I think) of an incorrect
installation of GDK-Pixbuf ; binary distribution on Mandrake 7.2 (with PostgreSQL-7.0) seems to work but have not been eavilly tested.
GPC binary package for Linux Slackware :
This package have been compiled and tested on a Linux Slackware 7.0, updated with various packages from Slackware 7.1 and PostgreSQL-6.5.3 ;
this is the first development platform of GPC, but it's not supported anymore (volounteers ??).
Older GPC packages (gpc.tgz) can't be upgraded with 'upgradepkg' !! You MUST remove them first before installing this new version.
GPC binary package for FreeBSD (tested with FreeBSD 4.2) :
This package have been ported and compiled on FreeBSD 4.2, including native GNOME-1.2 packages and PostgreSQL-7.0.2 ; you can also build your own package on FreeBSD 4.2
by using this port. This platform is not supported anymore (volounteers ??)
